Mistakes Iโve made as a PT so you donโt have to!

Over the years thereโs been so many trends, new things online that people get sucked into and also new research on a lot of different things!
Anyways here we go:
1. Sugar wonโt make you fat. One single thing wonโt make you gain body fat, it doesnโt work like that, we all know what a calorie deficit is by now โฆ you could eat high sugar foods, be in a deficit and lose fat BUT feel rubbish. If someone demonises food, run!
2. You canโt out train your diet. Whatever your goal is, over exercising isnโt the way forward, the way forward is finding what works for you, what works for goal and whatโs sustainable. You donโt need to expend thousands of calories a day and eat a few hundred. You need to nail the basics here.
3. You donโt need to train every day to see results. You only need extreme training if your goal depends on that. You donโt need to be in the gym or running for hours on end. If you have 20 mins to exercise and thatโs all you do then amazing, if you only managed to exercise 2 times this week, thatโs getting you closer to where you want to beโฆ you get the point.

Your journey isnโt going to look like anyone elseโs.
Itโs yours.
You might find it harder, easier, not know what direction to go in, you might smash your habits on the head first time or it might take a good few months to get your head around things.
Whatever your goal is with your fitness journey just know, itโs got to be right for you, you have to be doing it for the right reasons and it really doesnโt matter if it looks different to your mates, what matters is that it works for you, itโs sustainable, realistic and suits your lifestyle!
Remember, the best plan is the one you can stay consistent with!
Donโt compare your journey to anyone elseโs, focus on building a healthy lifestyle for you!
