Compstall Cricket Club is sad to announce the passing of ex member and player Phil Homer on the 22nd August - Phil played for the club for many years as a stoic opening batsmen plus an excellent guy to have a pint with after the game. His son Neil also played at Compstall for many years - both of them played through the 90’s and 2000’s during some very successful years for the club.
Phil’s funeral will be on Thursday 17th September at the Rowan Chapel, Stockport Crematory 1.00 pm until 1.45 pm.
Afterwards there will be a celebration of Phil’s life at The Romiley Arms Pub. 😢🏏
