Welcome to Marple, Luke Young! 🔵🟡

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Cheshire CCC all-rounder and 2x Premier League player of the year, Luke Young is returning home to Marple CC, to be reunited with brother Elliot and dad Craig.

A former Marple junior, Luke comes back to us after 10 years at Hyde as the leading all-rounder in Cheshire - coming off a stellar 2026 season with 1,329 runs and 45 wickets, including a MotM performance in his 4th Cheshire Cup win.

Luke joins an exciting project to drive the club to greater success, and will continue his work coaching our successful Academy and Emerging Player programmes, bringing his exceptional talent and experience to our exciting next generation.

Welcome home Luke!
