Fourmerk Highland Ponies

We laid Mum to rest yesterday at Fourmerk, as were her wishes, and then had a lovely service, conducted by Ian Roy, at Gargunnock Parish Church, followed by superb hospitality at The Lion and Unicorn, Thornhill. Thanks to everyone who has been in touch and to those who attended yesterday. It means a lot to us. It was lovely to hear stories and share memories of Mum.
We took a collection in aid of Alzheimers Research UK and raised a staggering £664. Thank you to all who donated.

We are very sad to let everyone know that Mum passed away peacefully last night. We will confirm funeral arrangements shortly.

So this weekend, we did this!!
After taking extremely ill last September to the point we thought he wouldn't make it, I was back on board my best boy, Royal Caledonian of Fourmerk. He wouldn't have made it without the care and attention from Jan, Willie & Chris Grant. He returned to Fourmerk in December when he was well enough to travel.
It has been a long road to recovery but so delighted that he is well again!

After a run of fillies, our last arrival of 2026 surprised us by making an appearance 10 days early! Fourmerk Teal has produced a handsome c**t by Pipe Major of D***s. This young man will be available at weaning.

Welcome to filly number 4. Well done Fourmerk Eliza - we are delighted with this beautiful baby by Dunedin Iolare who was born in the early hours of yesterday morning. Thanks to Chris & Jan Grant for letting Eliza rendezvous with the gorgeous Eagle.
