The Stirling Highland Games President is delighted to welcome the Lord Provost to the Gathering this Saturday.
Lord Provost Rosemary Fraser, who will be attending the event on behalf of the people of Stirling, said: “Stirling Highland Games is a superb outdoor sporting event that is rooted in the history and heritage of the city and the wider area. It attracts top-tier athletes, performers, clans and visitors from across the world to contest Highland athletics and other events."
“The Games are more than just a sporting contest, it showcases why Stirling and this region are so special, from our vibrant communities and thriving culture to our innovative businesses. This will be seen on the day with a diverse range of entertainment including a massive trader village and a programme of creative arts. There will be something for everyone to enjoy."
