Pickleball Stirling

Pickleball Stirlings Graham Melville and playing partner Marc Ross travelled to Wrexham tennis centre in Wales at the weekend for the Welsh open . They took part in the over 35s 4.0+ section and finished as gold medal winners in a very tough field. They won a best of 3 set match 12-10, 4-11, 11-7 to take the title!! 🏆

They played some excellent pickleball over the course of the day and even had there semi final and final match with commentary. Congratulations guys

🏓 Away from all the league chat… 👀

Mark, Keith, Babs and Linzie were off competing in the Unicorn Tournament at Xcite Broxburn this weekend.

There was just one small problem… they initially turned up at Xcite Winchburgh! 🤦‍♂️😂 Wondering where everyone was, they eventually realised their mistake and made it to the correct venue just in time! ⏰🏃‍♂️

🏅 No medals this time, but everyone played really well, with some fantastic games, great rallies and plenty of competitive pickleball.

A great afternoon was had by all — even if the sat-nav skills need a little work! 😂🏓

What an achievement in their first season, finishing runners-up in Division 3 East (B)! 🙌👏

They narrowly missed out on the title to Pickleball Galashiels, who were simply too strong, going the entire season undefeated and thoroughly deserving their league title. 👏

After securing a crucial win against Team Murray, everything came down to the nail-biting result between Shawfair Silver and Kingdom Pickleball Warriors.

A win for Shawfair Silver would have seen Team Wallace crowned champions, but unfortunately the result didn’t go their way. Huge congratulations to Kingdom Pickleball Warriors on winning the title and securing promotion! 👏🏆

Despite the disappointment runners up in Division 3 East is a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved after a brilliant season of pickleball, teamwork and some seriously competitive games! 💪🏓

Team Bruce have officially clinched the Division 1 East title — with TWO games to spare! 🎉🙌

Last week, they travelled to QMU to face the East Lothian Gannets for the second time this season, knowing that a win would secure the league title and give them the chance to fight for promotion to the Premier League.

There were definitely a few nerves at the start… but once they settled, they found their fire! 🔥 After some brilliant, friendly and highly competitive games, Team Bruce came away with another 7–2 victory — sealing the title in style! 🏆

A massive congratulations to everyone in Team Bruce. What an incredible achievement — back-to-back promotions and now Division 1 East champions! 👏👏

It’s been a busy one today, with a number of Stirling members out representing the club at both the Newlands Festival and the ELPC DUPR event.

Susan, Hazel, Chesca and Kirsten headed to Wallyford to take on three other teams in some highly competitive and entertaining games! 💪🏓

A huge thanks to East Lothian Pickleball Club for the invite and for hosting such a fantastic morning of pickleball. Great games, great company and plenty of fun! 👏

Team Bruce welcomed East Lothian Gannets to the Dunblane Centre this week for their latest league fixture.

There were some close, competitive and entertaining matches, but Team Bruce once again came out on top with a 7–2 victory! 💪🙌
