The season for our 1st XV starts today as they head to Marr RFC. Last weekend they had a pre-season vs Ayr RFC. It was good to see lots of familiar faces back in red white and black, together some exciting new signings. KO today 3pm.

We crossed the line !
Our car park remarking project has now been completed, providing a much-needed refresh to the entire area.
New parking bays and road markings have been installed, along with more dedicated disabled parking bays distributed across the site, improving accessibility for members and visitors from all of our community clubs.
Double yellow lines have also been added along the road towards the allotments, helping to maintain traffic flow and ensure clear access on busy match days.
We would like to extend our thanks to our club sponsor, CTM Group, for delivering the work and for carefully coordinating it around a busy club schedule.
This marks the first of several planned upgrades and improvements across the club, all aimed at enhancing our facilities and creating an environment that all members, teams, and community clubs can take pride in.

Huge congrats to former County players Joss and Keira and current County players Aoife and Ellie and all of their Scotland team mates on their great success in the Netherlands this weekend.
The girls were part of the Scotland Women U18s squad, making history in this year’s Summer Series in Amsterdam, where for the first time, the team achieved two wins from two.
If you’re feeling inspired by their successes and would love to give rugby a try, or if you are looking to get back into your rugby, come along to County where you’re guaranteed a warm welcome. 🏴 Scotland U18 Selection
Huge congratulations to Ellie Lister and Aoife Powrie-Smith from County, who have been selected for the Scotland Women U18 squad competing at the Summer Series Festival in the Netherlands. Shout outs also to two former County players Keira Forrest and Joss Mair who are also selected.
A fantastic achievement for all players and a very proud moment for everyone at Stirling County.

🏉 The Minis Roadmap: P6 & P7 - The Game Grows!
As our players reach Primary 6 and Primary 7, they enter the final, most exciting stages of the County Minis section. This is where all those fundamental skills come together, and the game really starts to expand!
Under Scottish Rugby guidance, our P6 and P7 squads focus on:
🔴 A Bigger Stage: The pitch gets wider and longer, and the number of players on a side increases. This gives the kids a true match-day feel and rewards smart tactical play.
⚪ Introducing Rucks & Scrums: We safely introduce contesting for the ball at the ruck, along with uncontested scrums. It’s all about teaching the physical technique properly and safely to prepare them for youth rugby.
⚫️ Fast-Paced Strategy: With more players and more space, the focus shifts to quick decision-making, support play and moving the ball with speed and purpose!
🚌 Of course, being in P6 and P7 means these squads are the senior leaders on our legendary annual Minis Tour! Spending a weekend away at an outdoor activity centre, tackling team challenges, and playing in a Sunday festival builds bonds that last a lifetime. By the time our P7s graduate at the end of the year, they are a tight-knit family ready to take on high school and S1 rugby together.

While many of our players have been together since Micros, we love welcoming brand-new players to the P6 and P7 squads!

✅ Our coaches are experts at onboarding beginners safely and at their own pace.
