Hormones ruining my life this week ✌🏽
To put it politely, this week has been a s**t show 😅 Fatigue, cramps, back pain + total loss of appetite have all made a lovely appearance + completely dictated my week 🤒
I’ve had to actually listen to my body + take a week out of training. I’ve still been getting out for walks, but that’s all I’ve had in me + you know what that’s okay 🤷🏼♀️
Next week is a new week + I’ll get back to it when I’m feeling more like myself 🥰
Just a little reminder girlies, your menstrual cycle can affect energy + strength + it's so important to listen to your body. It effects everyone different, but this week for me I've had no choice but to be completely out the game.
A reminder that rest isn’t falling behind, it’s working with your body instead of against it. Your hormones aren’t making you weak, they’re just reminding you that your body needs something different this week 🩷

1 week pre holiday vs 5 weeks post holiday 🫶🏽✨
Holding yourself accountable at the best of times is hard, never mind after a holiday when there are no big goals, countdowns or trips coming up to keep you focused
Since coming back my holiday I haven’t trained anywhere near as intensely as I was before. In fact, I won’t even lie I haven’t stepped foot on the stepper once, but I have been making an effort to get outside more, move my body + enjoy being active in ways that make me feel good whilst still weight training 🥰
I wanted to do a check in with myself for my own mentality to see where I’m at + to be honest with myself about how things are going.
And do you know what? I’m actually not mad about it ✌🏽
I genuinely thought I’d undone a lot more progress than this. Even though visually I don’t see a huge difference, mentally I feel like I’ve let go of a lot of pressure recently + maybe that’s not always a bad thing.
Right now, I’m still searching for my next goal. I’m sitting around maintenance (or at least trying to 😂) enjoying summer, feeling good, + embracing having a bit more flexibility. Carbs are up, energy is up + I’m definitely feeling the benefits.
The power of consistency isn’t about being perfect every day. It’s about continuing to show up, even when you feel like nothing is changing.
Because often the results you’re looking for are happening long before you can see them ✨🤍

Stepping out of your comfort zone isn’t about becoming someone else
It’s about being brave enough to discover whether there’s more waiting for you. More confidence. More memories. More experiences. More of you 🫶🏽
Every time you take a step outwith your comfort, you prove to yourself that you’re capable of far more than you once believed
It’s choosing curiosity over fear
Growth over certainty
Possibility over limitation
Because your comfort zone will never ask you to grow 🫣
It will ask you to stay where things feel familiar
Where there’s less risk
Less vulnerability
Less chance of failure
But there’s also less chance of discovering what you’re truly capable of 🦋
Sometimes all it takes is one brave decision + possibly someone in your corner to believe in you more than you believe in yourself
That’s exactly why I created Confidently Captured 📸🩷
Not just as a photoshoot experience, but to give women the opportunity to step outside of their comfort zones, celebrate themselves + walk away with a reminder of the strength + confidence they’ve had within them all along 🥰
