All greens have now been hollow cored, overseeded, top dressed & brushed twice. Sprinklers & tomorrows rain will aid the germination process. 12th hole still looking very dry from above due to sanding & the dry summer⛳

Today we continued our greens renovation work, successfully hollow coring holes 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 18. We experienced just one minor setback, with a leak developing on the collector, but overall, the day went well.

Tomorrow, we will concentrate on clearing the cores from holes 9 and 11 before continuing with the remaining greens: 16, 17 and the putting green.
On Thursday, we plan to overseed the greens, hopefully allowing us to complete the topdressing before the weekend.

After careful consideration, we have decided to hold off on scarifying for the time being, giving the greens more time to recover from the dry summer conditions we experienced. Our priority is to support healthy recovery while carrying out the renovation work.

On a positive note, the windrow is working like a charm! A big well done to our in-house metalworker for a fantastic job. 😍👏

⛳ Greens Maintenance Fortnight

We’re now underway with our two-week greens maintenance programme.

Week 1: Hollow coring of the greens
Week 2: Scarifying and drill seeding

Today was Day 1, and despite a few minor issues along the way, we successfully completed six greens.

Holes 1, 2, 7, 8, 13 and 15 have all been cored and cleared, ready for the next stage of the process.

A great start to the fortnight, and we’ll continue working our way around the course over the coming days. ⛳

Be careful of any washouts after yesterday's downpour.
Any bunkers GUR will be marked.

💦 Please drop away from the filled drainage lines to the nearest point of relief.
The ropes on the 15th fairway have now been removed but the drain lines are still G. U. R

➡️ Exit 17th green via top path to avoid unnecessary wear around 7th tees.

🚜Current green height 3mm👌.
