Isabel Trail Stafford 5K Your Way, Move Against Cancer

As well as flying the flag for 5k your way this Saturday, I’ve also agreed to volunteer as a park walker- if you fancy coming down but don’t feel up to running, it would be great to have some folk to walk with.
Remember, 5KYW, Move against cancer is about staying physically active, not just running. I hope to see you there.

Good afternoon all, this Saturday is the last of August which can only mean that it is a 5kyw, move against Cancer event at the Isabel Trail Parkrun. The weather is a bit cooler, which should make it more pleasant. If you’ve been affected by cancer come along and say hello. We’ll be around in the area where the volunteers meet wearing the 5KyW kit.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t make the last 5kyw event in July, but managed to fly the flag last week with my good friend and 5KYW legend Dave Twiss at the new Vale Park parkrun. It was Dave’s story and attitude to his cancer that inspired me to become an ambassador at Isabel trail.
