When people look at Simply Dance, they see performances, costumes, smiling photos and proud moments.

But when I look back over the last seven years, that’s not what I see first.

I see children growing into confident young people. I see friendships that have lasted years. I see families who have become part of ours. And I feel incredibly proud of every single student who has ever walked through our studio doors.

As I’ve been looking back through years of photos and videos recently, it’s reminded me just how incredibly proud I am of every single student who has ever walked through our studio doors.

Whether you’ve been with us for one term or nearly seven years, you’ve all played a part in making our dance family what it is today.

I’m not always physically in the studio every single class, but one thing I can promise is that I am always there in spirit. My heart has always been, and always will be, with every student, every teacher, every rehearsal, every performance and every milestone that happens within our dance school.

Nearly seven years ago, I started this journey with one simple dream: to create a dance school where children felt safe, supported, encouraged and believed in. A place where friendships are built, confidence grows, hard work is celebrated and every child matters.

I never wanted Simply Dance to be a place where children were judged by how many medals they won or how naturally talented they were. I wanted every child to walk through our doors knowing they belonged, whether they danced for fun, dreamed of performing professionally or simply wanted somewhere they could be themselves. I wanted parents to choose us because of the values we stand for - the kindness we show, the family atmosphere we’ve built and the genuine care we have for every single student. I truly believe that’s what has always made Simply Dance so special.

Looking back, I can honestly say that’s exactly what we’ve created together.

We’ve watched nervous little dancers become confident performers. We’ve celebrated first classes, first shows and unforgettable moments performing on stages across the UK and around the world. But as amazing as those achievements are, what makes me the proudest isn’t the performances.

It’s the kindness.

It’s the friendships.

It’s the way our students cheer each other on, lift each other up and genuinely celebrate one another’s successes. We don’t waste time listening to outside noise or getting caught up in negativity. We focus on what truly matters - our love of dance, supporting one another and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Students will always grow, move on and begin new chapters, and that’s part of life. But the loyalty, respect and love that so many families continue to show this school never goes unnoticed. I will always be grateful for every child, every parent and every family who has trusted us to be part of their journey.

A huge thank you to one of our wonderful dance students, Sarah 💙

Every year, the students at Sir Graham Balfour School in Stafford take part in a sponsored walk to raise money for a primary school in Chi Phat Village, Cambodia. The funds raised help pay the wages of an English and Computing teacher, providing vital educational opportunities that the children would otherwise not receive.

The school’s goal is to raise £5,000 each year for this incredible cause. This year, students were invited to wear a sports top of their choice alongside their PE kit for the walk, and Sarah proudly chose to wear her ‘Simply Dance’ top to help promote our dance family while supporting such an important fundraiser.

We are so proud of you, Sarah, and grateful for your support. Well done to everyone involved in raising money for such a worthwhile cause 🌟

Meet Miss Hannah – Founder & Principal of Simply Dance

With over 20 years of dance training and extensive teaching experience, Miss Hannah is passionate about helping every child build confidence, develop excellent technique, and fall in love with dance.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Dance & Theatre Arts, an IDTA Teaching Qualification with Distinction, and specialist Acro training through British Gymnastics. Her performance experience includes the Royal Albert Hall, Move It, London Excel, the Regent Theatre, and The Brewhouse Theatre.

Qualified to teach Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Street, Commercial, Acro Dance, and Pointe, Miss Hannah is also DBS checked, fully insured, and holds First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications.

Hannah also has had 5 years training for pre school ages.

At Simply Dance, every class combines expert teaching with a supportive, encouraging environment where every child can thrive, whether they're dancing for fun or working towards big goals.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we’ve been accepted to perform at the O27 Dance Festival at the Regent Theatre once again!! 🌟

This will be our third time taking part in this incredible event, and we couldn’t be more excited to be returning. Even better, next year we’ll be taking even more of our amazing students to experience the magic of performing on such an iconic stage!! 🙌🏻

Our Circus Spectacular Dance Camp is a full day of fun, laughter, and creativity, inspired by the magic and excitement of the big top! Children will enjoy energetic dance sessions featuring circus inspired choreography, acro movement, tricks, and performance skills, all designed to suit every ability.

A huge congratulations to our wonderful Miss Eloise, who successfully auditioned for this year’s Beauty and the Beast Christmas pantomime with Polka Dot Pantomime Company.

Eloise will be performing as part of the Red Group, where she’ll be showcasing her fantastic dancing and singing talents throughout the festive season.
