We are delighted to announce that St Andrews Links will assume custodianship of The Duke’s Golf Course from Monday 5th January 2026, following a period of consultation. As part of this transition, the course will be renamed The Craigtoun Course, joining the Trust’s portfolio of some of the most iconic golf courses in the world.
For over 25 years, Kohler has proudly grown membership at The Duke’s, welcoming golfers from St Andrews and beyond to experience Scotland’s only heathland course in the Home of Golf. During this time, we have invested significantly in future-proofing the course, including drainage and irrigation projects to enhance playing conditions and mitigate the impact of changing weather.
We extend our sincere thanks to our members and the dedicated team at The Duke’s, whose commitment has delivered unforgettable experiences since the course opened in 1995. We are pleased that this talented team will continue their roles under the leadership of St Andrews Links Trust.
We wish St Andrews Links Trust every success in continuing to provide world-class golf experiences for residents and visitors to St Andrews.
