Thank you for all the notes of interest in attending our Try Curling sessions. The 2026 Winter Olympics have certainly generated a lot of interest in our sport. We have now set aside our dates and session types for 2026. In addition to peer group Try Curling sessions we have also included a block of 2 beginner/development sessions for new curlers to take the next step. 🏴 CURLERS WANTED – FOUR NATIONS 2027! 🥌

Fancy representing Scotland at the Four Nations? Applications are now open! 🙌

The 2027 competition will take place from 29th–31st January at Stranraer Ice Rink, with Ireland as this year’s host nation.

The Four Nations is a friendly and social weekend of curling between Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales, with places available in men’s, women’s and mixed teams.

🥌 Open to Scottish Curling members aged 16+
📅 Applications close 30th September 2026
💷 Selected curlers are responsible for their own ice fees, accommodation and travel

The best thing we all can do is show up, put a team in a bonspiel, help out your ice maker, offer prizes for a fundraiser, sell tickets, cook something for a spiel, show up at a meeting, sponsor a junior team, do something, but show up for your curling centre this season.

Ok we know it is still summer and nobody wants to think about winter just yet, but we are busy working on the new curling season starting in October at Forfar. If you want to try one of Scotland's most successful, fun and healthy sports, register your interest to Try Curling by sending an email to [email protected] telling us your name(s), contact email and approximate age of those keen to attend. We will contact you with full details of our Try Curling sessions throughout the curling season while offering you the opportunity to pre-register. We look forward to hearing from you.
