Good luck to Rebekah Duffy on Tuesday in her first ride against the professionals, having secured her Cat B licence a few months ago: the first JockeyStart graduate to do so. She has also been supported throughout by Girsonfield Stud & Racing , from her first ride through to this one. 👏

A winner 🏆, a 2nd and a 3rd for JockeyStart at the Fife P2P. Many congrats on her win to (supported last year by JockeyStart thanks to the donation of Fresh New Dawn by ) to on her 2nd, and Eloise again for a 3rd.
A great result in the Amateur Hurdle at Perth: 1st and 2nd goes to JockeyStart's and only 18 months after their first P2P rides thanks to . Bekah's 1st win Under Rules, supported by Susan Corbett and while Jesika is supported by Nick Alexander and . Bekah and Jesika learnt the ropes via in at , , , ,
We had 20 applicants for JockeyStart this season, but only 5 horses. Might you consider gifting, loaning or selling a schoolmaster type for new jockeys who would never otherwise have the opportunity, under JockeyStart? It is a nice way for owners to "give back" to the grassroots of NH. An owner can choose options on what he/her is happy (or not) for the horse to do/go etc, signing a contract with JockeyStart. Some pics from yesterday of JockeyStart's , and at . Abi went closest, riding a brilliant race on Diable de Sivola, aged 13, just pipped into 2nd by a higher rated horse with younger legs. Great to see Bekah and Jesika getting outside rides.

A great ride by Jesika Rennie . Harjo was hesitant at the first; she built his jumping confidence throughout... making ground. Then rode a brilliant finish, jumping the last a length down yet winning by a length... all that driving to Brian Harding, BHA jockey coach, is paying off. She gets home from Brian's after 1am then up early to start work at Kinneston
