This guy has got his hands on one of our Sunday Sticks!!..In Victorian days golf courses were closed on a Sunday! Traditionally a day of rest and worship. The fanatical Golfer would get dressed and walk to church with his Walking Cane(sunday stick) if noone was looking on the way back he would practice his putting by turning his cane around🤣. Available with a wooden head or iron head. ⛳️

The Heathergem Putter is made from Natural Heather Stems. The stems are cleaned, dyed and compressed before being shaped into individual pieces. The pieces are then inserted into the face of the putters. The putter head style is the George Nicoll Stag putter, the wood mallet head shape was popular around the 19th century ⛳️

There were three key development stages of the Gutta Percha golf ball, The Smooth Ball c1840, The Hammered Ball c1860 and The Bramble Ball c1890. Players found that when the Smooth Ball had markings it could affect the balls flight, so they developed the scratched Hammered Ball and finally the dimple patterned Bramble Ball. Many of todays modern Balls have a dimple pattern similair to the Gutta Percha Bramble Ball. ⛳️ (Available to purchase online or in our shop)
