Priory Judo Club Portsmouth Priory Judo Club Portsmouth Judo is an ideal way to exercise and it serves as a great workout, which improves stamina, general health and overall fitness.

Junior Sessions (6-16)
Friday - 5.00pm to 6.00pm
Saturday - 12.00pm to 1.00pm

Senior Sessions (16+)
Wednesday 7.30pm to 9pm
Saturday 1.00pm to 2.30pm

Priory Judo club is a member of the British Judo Association (BJA), the governing body for judo in the UK. The coaches are fully qualified (BJA club coaches or UKCC Level 2) including first aid and child protection, as well as being CRB checked. We offer sessions for juniors (6-16) and adults. Feel free to visit any time, if you are unsure whether judo is for you come and watch a session, the club members and coaches would all be happy to answer any questions you may have.

The 2026 IBSA Judo European Championships begin tomorrow, with our eight-strong squad set to take on the continent’s best over the next couple of days in Heidelberg 🇬🇧🥋

With a defending champion, proven medallists and exciting prospects for the future all taking to the tatami, the British squad are ready to give it their all. Good luck, team! 💪

Good luck also to GB referee Lisa Rivers, who will be officiating at the event! 👏
