If you’ve been thinking about doing your YTT but waiting for the “perfect time”, here’s your reminder: you don’t have to feel 100 percent ready to begin. You just need the right support, structure, and community around you.

This training is for anyone who wants to:

• deepen their practice (physically, mentally, and emotionally)
• learn the foundations of teaching with confidence
• understand alignment, sequencing, and the “why” behind the poses
•step into a space that challenges you and supports you at the same time

And yes, you can do it too. Whether you want to teach, or you simply want a summer that transforms how you move through life, YTT has a way of making you feel more grounded, more capable, and more connected.

If you’re curious, send us a DM with “YTT” and we’ll share dates, details, and what to expect, plus help you figure out if it’s the right fit.

3 tips to strengthen your core… and we’re not talking about for your summer body.

Core strength is the foundation of life, both on and off the mat. It keeps our backs supported, our bodies upright, and helps us move with more ease, stability, and control.

In yoga, there are a few ways to build core strength that go far beyond traditional ab exercises.

1. Use pranayama to build deep core support
Breathwork can create incredible strength through the midsection. Practices like Kapalabhati and Uddiyana Bandha help activate and strengthen the deep muscles that support the core from the inside out.

2. Focus on alignment in every pose
When you pay attention to how you stack and support your body in each posture, your core naturally switches on. Good alignment helps you build strength more safely and intelligently, rather than relying on flexibility alone. Think about trikonasana as you lengthen your side and stack your body, your core will help lift up your trunk.

3. Move slowly and with control
Try not to let momentum move your body. Instead, focus on engaging your core — Mula Bandha and Uddiyana Bandha — to create strength and stability.
For example, moving from Warrior 3 to Tree shouldn’t be about throwing your leg forward as you come upright. It’s about engaging your core to lift the body, finding stability, and then using control and hip flexor strength to raise the leg while staying steady.

Not all yoga teacher trainings are created equal.

And there are a lot of different options out there, so here a few tips on what to look for when choosing where to go.

1. Authentic teachings focused on philosophy and original texts
2. Alignment, safe adjustments, how muscles work
3. Yoga alliance credited, doesn’t promise it’s good but it’s necessary
4. Clear course structures, you know what you are flowing into every day

Remember teacher training isn’t a holiday.
