Caroline's Ballet

Caroline's Ballet Come and enjoy ballet whatever your age, size or ability! I teach Ballet Conditioning, Beginner and improver ballet lessons based in Southbourne.

All ages and fitness abilities welcome. Adult ballet is for anyone who has always wanted the opportunity to have a go at ballet, to try a different type of fitness to normal, or to pick up a childhood hobby. The classes are run over 7 week courses and follow a similar timetable each week: barre and posture work, limbering and floor barre, centre work and dance work. By the end of the 7weeks, pupils will have grasped the basic positions and some key steps which will enable a learnt ballet dance.

“For 10 years I haven’t been able to feel my toes. I’ve been to the doctors, been on medication-nothing. But, one chair based ballet class a week for nearly a year and I have the feeling back!” From Wendy.

What an amazing result! I never expected results like this but it’s just fantastic 💗🩰
