For men and women alike, mental health can be difficult to talk about. Too often, people stay quiet, put on a brave face, and try to carry everything alone.

At Millbrook RFC, we want our men’s and women’s teams to know that talking is not weakness. Checking in is not awkward. Asking for help is not something to be ashamed of.

Sometimes training is the release. Sometimes it’s the laugh with your teammates. Sometimes it’s the conversation on the sideline, in the changing room, or on the way home that makes all the difference.

Look out for each other. Ask twice. Listen properly. Speak up when you need to.

Because men’s mental health matters.
Women’s mental health matters.

Make space for the conversation.

🏉 Millbrook RFC Family Fun Day! 🔴🟢

What a fantastic day we had on Sunday at Millbrook RFC!

There was something for everyone, with a great variety of stalls and activities including face painting 🎨, a bouncy castle 🏰, ice cream 🍦 and plenty more!

Of course, things got a little competitive when the teams lined up for the Tug of War… 💪😂 After a hard-fought battle, it was a team of our veterans who came out on top… experience clearly counts! 😉🏆

A massive thank you to every single volunteer who gave up their time to help make the day such a success. Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without you. ❤️

A special thank you has to go to and for the incredible amount of time, energy and effort they put into ensuring the day ran smoothly. Clara and Rob continue to put into supporting Millbrook RFC in every way they can - it really is appreciated! 👏❤️❤️

Millbrook RFC Men are recruiting new players for the 2026/27 season— whether you’re an experienced player, returning to rugby, or looking to give the game a go for the very first time. With the season delayed, there is still plenty of time to get stuck into pre-season and then hit the ground running with one of our men's teams.

With three senior men’s teams, there’s a level of rugby for everyone:

🏉 **NEWBIES & RETURNERS — WE WANT YOU!** 🔴🟢

Whether you’ve never picked up a rugby ball before, haven’t played in years, or simply fancy getting back into the game, our Beginner & Return-to-Rugby sessions are for you. These are for men and women and are adaptive when demonstrating the contact parts of the game. Minimum age 16.

✅ Friendly, welcoming atmosphere
✅ Rugby skills & laws of the game
✅ Principles of play & adaptive games
✅ Opportunity to progress into our representative teams
