The wait is almost over! Join us at Atherley Bowls & Social Club as we kick off 8 fantastic days of bowls with the Atherley Open Singles, starting tomorrow (Saturday) at 2:00pm.

🎳 Everyone is welcome to come along and watch some excellent bowling, enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and make use of our licensed bar and club facilities. Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or have never seen the game before, we’d love to welcome you.

Greg Davis is travelling over from Jersey especially to entertain us with what promises to be a fantastic karaoke night. Come along, sing a song (or just enjoy the entertainment!) and help give Greg a great Atherley welcome.

A fun evening for everyone, starting at 7.00pm.

The countdown is on! In just 7 days’ time, the Southampton Festival of Bowls gets underway at Atherley Bowls & Social Club.

The festival opens on Saturday 18th July at 2:00pm with the Atherley Open Singles, marking the start of 8 days of competitive lawn bowls featuring players from across the region.

Then, from Monday 20th July, the prestigious Southampton Open Bowls Tournament begins, attracting bowlers from across the country and the Channel Islands for a week of top-class competition.

Before our Open Day, we’re also proud to host the Southampton Festival of Bowls at Atherley, beginning Saturday 18th July and running for 8 days.

This summer, Atherley Bowls & Social Club is proud to host the Southampton Festival of Bowls – eight fantastic days of competitive lawn bowls, with FREE admission for spectators throughout the event.

The highlight of the festival is the Southampton Open Bowls Tournament, which starts on Monday 20th July and attracts talented players from across England and the Channel Islands, all competing for top honours in one of the South’s premier open tournaments.
