Solent Red Storm - Flag American Football

As the 2026 season is coming to an end, it is time to fondly look back and reminisce over the years, and to look forward into the very bright future of Red Storm!

Our team is playing in the British American Football Association National Finals in two weeks, and our Solent Red Storm - Flag American Football team will be trying to grab some silverware in the Outlaw Flag League during September and October.

Congratulations to our amazing squad as they continued their season by winning both games in the Regionals on Saturday!

were given the #1 Seed in the South/South West Division which meant we faced in game 1, and in game 2.

The first game against the 🦇 was definitely a high-stakes game, with some fantastic catches on both sides. The game ended in a 40-20 win for after the players got back into their rhythm in the second half.

Game 2 was against 🐱 and became the decider, with the winner going to the Nationals in September. Our U17s played with the cool, calm tempo that has served so well this season, winning 52-7. Every player got a decent amount of game time. Every player had a smile throughout!

We have a few weeks of tweaks to prepare for the finals, and will be looking forward to playing in Coventry💙

Our had fun in the sun at yesterday's (after all coaching and officiating duties were finished with the U11 and U14 teams).

The team was bolstered with appearances from U17 players Logan and James. Rookie made her competitive debut for the team too!

The Seniors finished with 1️⃣ Win and 3️⃣ Losses to end up in the top three!

Yet again, huge thanks to hosts for putting on an amazing day! 🏈
