Or better yet five years
It takes a decade of work to become an overnight success!
And while there are many tips, tricks, skills and programs you will need along the way the biggest factor in your success will be time spent training, competing and improving!
Don't expect to be at the top of the sport in a few months
Don't expect to pb every lift every 6 weeks.
Commit to your training and your sport for the long haul and you will see success

Good coaches want the best for you!
But to get the most out of your coach you need to be pro-active
Film your sets and send them over every week.
Ask questions about your program, your macro cycle, your nutrition
Bring ideas and goals to the table.
All of these allow a coach to give you a better experience and make you a better athlete.
More videos means more consistent technical analysis (and yes sometimes that will be 'this looks great' but keep sending the videos because technique changes over time)
Asking questions will mean you understand your programming better, understand the trajectory of your block and clear up any misunderstandings that can happen in online communication. (Ps if your coach can't explain why you're doing something or gets annoyed you are asking that's a bad sign)
Bringing your own ideas and goals to the table means we can adapt programs to better suit both your needs and your enjoyment (you should enjoy the majority of your training)
We do our best to provide you with the best service we can, to get you the most progress we can.
But you will get even more by being an active and engaged participant in the process
