Wall closure information 🧗‍♀️

Our climbing wall will be closed on Sunday 5th July! We are hosting the BMC Youth Climbing Festival 🤩
There may be some disruption around the wall during this time as we prepare for this. This includes reduced routes and active route setting.

We look forward to hosting a fun day for youth climbers around the country! Feel free to pop by to see some awesome climbing and show your support 🥳

we’re at Calshot this morning hosting their monthly beach clean. Great cause by a dedicated group of volunteers. Keep an eye out for their next date.

Calshot Activities Centre will have no access to water from Friday 19 June to Monday 22 June to allow essential maintenance work to be carried out. All activities will continue as normal. In addition, during this period:

- Customers will still be able to launch, access the main site, and visit the café.
- The café will operate with a restricted menu.
- Toilet facilities in the Sunderland Hangar will be unavailable, and there will be no drinking water on site.
- Temporary facilities will be provided.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and anticipate that normal service will resume by the afternoon of Monday 22 June.

Here at Calshot, the ocean surrounds us and inspires so many of our activities! From sailing& kayaking, to our environmental studies sessions, we are so grateful for this environment🦀

From Monday 1st June 2026 there will be some preplanned maintenance work taking place across Calshot Activities Centre. This work will see scaffolding erected across all three of our hangars until 28th July 2026.
The centre will be open as usual and all activities will continue as normal. However, access to the hangar from beach side will be restricted. The cafe will be open as usual and access can be gained via Sunderland Hangar. We apologise for the inconvenience caused during this essential maintenance work.

Looking for something fun to do over Whitsun Week.
Pop along to Calshot Castle - explore the 16th Century Tudor Fortress, learn about the Schneider Trophy, enjoy wonderful views across The Solent and take part in some craft activities.
Admission fees apply, your ticket gets 10% discount in the cafe.
The castle is open 10:00 - 14:00
Saturday 23rd May - Sunday 31st May
(Excluding Thursday 28th May - when Calshot Activities Centre is closed).
