So stoopidly stylish it's insane. You hum it, we’ll sew it. Beautiful, bespoke clothes for men, women & children of character. Twitter - NewsfromBedlam

Screenprinting done on site for our own tees and knitwear. Sit with us and create the suit of your life then acquire all extraneous accoutrements for the look that gets a double take of admiration. It's not about running down the street shouting "Look at me, I'm mad for fashion!" It's about the inventive-eccentric accent that rewards close up inspection, solicits a second glance.

This is the second suit jacket we’ve made by appointment to their majesty Holly Johnson
The outer cloth is the Super Black - as used to make the actual Men in Black suits. The silk lining features Holly’s own chiselled face logo. Printed by Dan Hatley Print I made a pocket square from it, too.
Real horn wide rimmed buttons that bring to mind vinyl records are from Thebuttonshop as ever.

Grief is a brutal diet, and it has slimmed him down significantly. The first anniversary of losing Wolfgang not long passed. We hope for stability now, stable is good. Holly was in good spirits on Friday at the showroom. And the show must go on!

Trusty sidekick L’il Prince P***y brings good vibes and smiles wherever he goes. We measured him up for an outfit.

Proclaim your one-ness with the historic sensation of the moment… order your Broderie de Bedlam t-shirt today! You won’t get a ticket for the exhibition for a while but you can have a related work of art on your person whilst you wait.

We illustrate our post with the 5XL in the highest quality organic cotton. The final shot is the large size.
We can go from extra small to 5XL, each one entirely exquisitely embroidered in homage to the nuns who recorded the rout of southern England by the French led by William the Conquerer (a soubriquet acquired after that day).

Go see the original Bayeux Tapestry currently on loan to the British Museum whilst wearing your Bedlam “Fecit!” shirt.

Vestifex fecit…. The tailor did it! Harold infectus est by a pin in the eye during his fitting. We promise to be more careful when you come for yours.

Thank you to Frieda for taking us to the Minnesota State Fair!! We had a blast, vicariously, via our piratical Jack Sack.

Keep the postcards coming before the nights draw in and the temperature drops. We love our travels with y’all!

The “Kingfisher” skirt.

Made from softest lambswool by Abraham Moon with a contrasting colour in the reverse pleat at the back that flashes like the darting bird of rare loveliness that inspired it, the skirt is lined in a coral colour also found in our feathered muse, that from Huddersfield Fine Worsteds

The nights are drawing in, there’s a nip in the air, Debbie Beale will be wearing this next week.

Inspired by nature, custom-made for you.

Earl of Bedlam, Girrrl of Bedlam, one off unique creations.

Welcome to the world baby Sienna! The most precious jewel in the cradle of Bedlam, bijou # # # de Bedlam arrived yesterday.

She’ll be keeping her mummy Holly Storer busy for a while now, meaning we are abandoned to fend for ourselves at the Huddersfield Fine Worsteds London showroom (not to say that Geoff doesn’t take care of us, of course!!).

We look forward to South London’s newest princess modelling her cotton knot hat and baby grow. It’s lined with softest muslin to make an integral little vest to protect her soft skin from the underside of the embroidery.

Hip Hip Hooray for Holly and sweetheart Sienna!

But here’s one that did make it across the Channel today, in time to be sipping rosé on the Giens peninsula by sundown.

Harriet and gang travelled première classe biensûr under the waves before reemerging for a fancy déjeuner at Le Train Bleu, resto of renown at the Gare de Lyon. Harriet’s custommade sac bleu de Bedlam avec ritzy keychain seized its opportunity for some snazzy shots.

Keep those cartes postale coming kids! We’re squeezing the last drop out of summer.

Chrissey Sullivan & Chris called in on their way to the coast, gathered some essential swag - The Bedlam Hobo backpack (or frontpack in Chrissey’s case) and Kitchen Chaos apron - before embarking on their cross-continental expedition to visit Sneaker Pimp percussionist David Westlake in Germany whom they met here earlier in the summer.

They posed for a Hampshire Gothic “farewell and Godspeed” shot.

Even though they have pitched camp for the night still on these shores, the first postcard has come in - Chris in the camper van du rêves modelling our Napoleon tee that will doubtless smooth their progress across continental borders and through customs. Their ferry leaves at first light. Cheerio!!

To celebrate the recommissioning of a certain series, you can star in your own Bedlam Legend t-shirt while you wait. Look fly and gleam while you undertake undercover missions, right wrongs, duff up the wrong ‘uns, unpack the shopping.

Embroidered in gold on either side of the cotton V-neck, the tee illustrated is conspicuously for ladies but we can do a boxy bloke’s cut, too. Being a b***y sort, I love a v-neck (says me, Lady C).

Become a Bedlam legend.
