One of the many cracking points on court last night at the club.
Lewis and Nick battled for three hours in the first round of our South Hants Mens Singles tournament.
Lewis coming through, 7-6, 6-7, 7-6!
The match was played in such a great spirit between the two, without losing any competitive edge!
Well done both!

Fun facts about South Hants Lawn Tennis Club (SHLTC)
- We opened in 1878 and were originally located on Portland Terrace in the center of Southampton (not far from West Quay shopping centre).
Despite the colour, these photos below were not taken in 1878, but by one of our creative members.....Last week!
- We moved to our current home on Northlands Road at some point between 1884 and 1897, we have yet to nail down an exact date!
- Our guest book, which we still have, starts in 1907.
