Moneyglen Delboy
15hh 4-year-old Irish Cob Gelding.
A beautifully produced young cob with all the right attributes for a bright future.
Imported from Ireland and carefully produced with his future in mind throughout his education, Moneyglen Delboy is a lovely young cob who has already developed an impressive, mature attitude to life.
Despite his age he has an older, wiser head on young shoulders. He is sensible, willing and possesses a genuine “can-do” attitude, making him an enjoyable horse to continue producing and develop. He does tend to live life in the slow lane & would be considered more ‘woah then go’.
Happily hacking alone and in company, taking everything in his stride. He is unfazed by heavy traffic, farm machinery and busy environments, while remaining sensible and safe in open spaces. He has excellent brakes and is proving to be a very reassuring young horse.
He is schooling nicely in the arena, working through three paces with smooth, rhythmic transitions. He works well over trotting poles and has started popping small fences, showing a willing attitude and plenty of natural ability.
With his age and education taken into consideration, he is not currently suited to a complete novice, but he is sensible enough to be continued and produced by a confident amateur.
We feel he would have the potential to make a fantastic mother & daughter share, riding club horse, family cob or general all-rounder.
Versatile and easy to manage, happily living in or out.
Good to bath, clip, stable, load and travel. He is excellent for the farrier and is currently barefoot with a great set of feet.
As with many feathered cobs, he requires regular feather maintenance to help prevent mallenders. His feathers are kept clipped as part of his routine care.
He has no known vices or bad habits.
Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming and is open to any vetting.
A genuine opportunity to acquire a lovely young Irish cob with a fantastic attitude, a sensible head and plenty of potential. Moneyglen Delboy has been carefully produced so far and is now ready for someone to take him on and continue his education into the awesome all-rounder he has the potential to become.
