And yes... it was still more than I used to earn working full-time.

I’m a huge believer that we don’t sit around waiting for opportunities, we create them. We pitch. We network. We follow up. We take action.

But life doesn’t always ask for permission before it gets in the way.

Sometimes you’re ill.

Sometimes your kids are off school.

Sometimes the whole house catches the same bug one after another.

Sometimes you’re simply running on empty.

During those seasons, you might not have the capacity to chase every opportunity the way you normally would. And that’s okay. ❤️

One slower month doesn’t erase everything you’ve built.

It doesn’t take away your skills, your experience, or your ability to bounce back.

I have never had to sit in a work meeting and miss the moment they walked out in their nativity costume for the first time.

I am the face they see at the school gate. Every. Single. Day.

When they get home, they tell me about their day.

Not a childminder. Me.

I have never had to choose between my job and my kids. Not once.

I am the constant. Always. 🤍

That’s what I built.

That’s what this business gave me.
