WE’RE HIRING…

Combat Sports Centre is looking for a friendly, motivated and reliable person to join us as a Front of House Coordinator/Member Services Assistant.

As the welcoming face of our centre, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive experience for our members, visitors and new customers. Your responsibilities will include managing enquiries and memberships, assisting with sales, maintaining clean and presentable reception and gym areas, and delivering excellent customer service.

This is a full-time employed position offering:

✅ 30+ hours per week, including evenings and weekends
✅ Starting wage of £11–£15 per hour
✅ Free Combat Sports Centre membership
✅ A friendly and supportive working environment
✅ Opportunities for overtime
✅ A clear career pathway towards management

Previous gym reception experience is not essential. We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident and dependable, with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Sales awareness and personal gym training experience would be advantageous.

💪 INTRODUCING OUR YOUTH STRENGTH ACADEMY!

An eight-week supervised gym programme designed specifically for young people aged 13–15.

Under the guidance of an experienced coach, participants will learn how to exercise safely and correctly while developing:

✅ Strength and conditioning
✅ Cardiovascular fitness
✅ Speed and power
✅ Confidence in the gym
✅ Safe and effective exercise technique

📅 Starts Wednesday 16th September
⏰ 8:00pm–9:00pm

💷 £80 for the full eight-week course

Sport Boxing and K1. Suitable for all levels (K1 all ages. Sport Boxing 18yrs+)

This event provides the opportunity for absolute novices to gain invaluable ring experience before competing on a show or open tournament. Those with previous experience are also encouraged to enter as an effective means of ‘ticking over’ between bouts.

Although some bouts will be scored on the day, the majority will be exhibition bouts (similar to a Skills Bout in amateur boxing). There is no incentive to be aggressive or try and KO your opponent. The emphasis is purely an exhibition of skills. It is often described as a means of ‘bridging the gap’ between club sparring and open competition.

Head Coach Paul Gilmore had the privilege of training at the world famous Gleason's Gym getting a quality session with Coach Earl and meeting Raul Frank Leon Taylor. Thank you owner Bruce Silverglade for an incredible experience

Three K1 fighters from entered the WKO Open World Championships and came away with an impressive 2 gold, 2 silver and a bronze. Well done T, Man of Steel and Bomber Brown 👏

Congratulations to t7active on achieving a Level 3 Personal Training qualification after successfully completing our intensive 10-week course at CSC Fitness Education. 👏
