A huge thank you to Visit Knowle for inviting us to dance back in June🩰 We accepted the challenge of devising 4 brand new themed routines in just 5 lessons to showcase different time periods 🥀🕺🏼

Well done dancers for your excellent performances🤩 We’re excited to see you shine again this weekend as we recreate some of our ICONS show routines⭐️

3 years since our magical performance in Disneyland Paris!✨ Time has flown by! The absolute best time was had🤩

🎀Cheerdance UK🎀Worcester🎀

Continuing the catch up with our Summer Term achievements, 25 of our students attended the Cheerdance UK competition in Worcester!

We only had two weeks to prepare following the show, with either two or three brand new routines to learn, so the pressure was on! All of our students worked unbelievably hard to turn this around in such a small amount of time and we are so proud of their work ethic & determination👏🏻

It was fabulous to see that EVERYONE from Allure were rewarded for their efforts by receiving recalls to the next round of competition🤩 Well Done Girls!
Each recall brought more energy and performance from the Allure team, and soon we were into the finals.

Zoe & Sophia came away with a 6th place in the age 12&13 pairs with only 2 practises!
Nathalie & Siona came away with a 4th place finish in the ‘Little & Large’ pairs, which is choreography devised on the day in 5 minutes!

We are completely blown away by the amount of trophies we came home with, but more importantly by the positive attitude shown by Allure girls and their support towards all the participants at the competition🩷

A big shout out to our 1st place dancers, FREYA, LILY & ROYA🏆 and to ORLAGH-ROSE, ELLA & SIONA with their double wins🏆🏆
And to our Age 8 entries, TILLY, LILY & ORLAGH-ROSE who were unstoppable in their age category, dominating every competition that they entered, taking the 3 podium places TWICE and 1st, 2nd & 4th in the other competition! Don’t mess with that trio😂

⭐️ICONS⭐️

2 months on!🤦🏼‍♀️😂

It always takes a while for me to post on social media. For me, the reflection time is so important, but refraining from posting also means that I don’t have to accept that another project has now come to an end. Packing away the final costumes last weekend brought the closure that ICONS really has come and gone, but the memories will be there for years to come.

Thank you simply doesn’t cover it, we’ll be forever grateful to everyone who was part of Icons:

To our incredible team of teachers💕 you devoted every moment to preparing your students so they could all shine on stage⭐️ We are very lucky to have such a wonderful team at Allure who inspire all our dancers💐 Thank you for everything you do to create an extraordinary journey for our dancers.

To all our backstage helpers, the show would not happen without you! You all embraced the craziness and long days that shows & rehearsals bring. You survived the hair, make up and many quick changes, but most importantly you supported all our dancers, encouraging them to give their best performance🤩 Your extra organisation, retyping all of your own groups notes, and whatsapp groups galore led to a smooth running show, where us teachers could (almost) relax knowing you had it all in hand👏🏻 An extra special shout out must go to; Ang in charge of all things costumes👗 Sam & Hannah for all their running🏃🏻‍♀️ Amy on quick changes🩳👗👚 and to my family (who I always forget to mention😬) who drop everything to back me 100% when it comes to show time, running all the extra errands that I don’t have time for🍾💄and remaining calm always (when I am not😂)

To our parents who continue to choose us as part of your child’s dance journey, we are thankful everyday that we get to work with your wonderful children! Thank you for your commitment to the whole rehearsal process which made ICONS a success. We are so grateful for the all the love we have received, through messages, cards and the incredible group collection gifts💐 Your generosity is utmost, but the greatest gift will always be the privilege of teaching your children🩷

And finally to our students! Once again you have surpassed all expectations. From age 2, all the way to our adult dancers, you embraced everything that the show was about, and boy did you SHINE✨ You made everyone who came to watch burst with pride, but quite not as much as your teachers! Your joy and smiles that the show brought will make us happy for a very long time to come🥰

So now the Facebook post is (finally) done, it really is over😔 We’ll leave you with some photo memories to enjoy whilst we await the video footage to arrive! We can’t wait to watch it all back and relive that iconic weekend⭐️

Show Rehearsals stage one complete!

70 hours of extra practice over the last 8 weekends😱 Thank you so much to everyone for their commitment attending rehearsals!🤩

It’s been incredibly busy with minimal time for pictures, so we’ll keep all the surprises for the show! Thankfully Miss Elisha has been on hand for the odd selfie😂

A huge shout out to all our students for working so hard, but especially to Anaïs, Bella, Elinor, Elodie, Emily G, Emmie, Eva, Sophia & Zoe for completing some long 5 hour straight rehearsals!👏🏻

Thank you to the parent helpers who have stayed to help us with costumes etc🥰

No rehearsals for the next two weekends due to Easter Holidays (Regular Classes are still ON on Saturday 28th March.) The next stage of rehearsals start from 11th April!🤩
