Slough Cricket Club was founded in 1849 and has since had a long and proud history of being one of the premier cricket clubs in the Thames Valley area. The First XI competes in the Home Counties Cricket League and won the Division 1 title in 2006. The current first team squad includes several Buckinghamshire County Cricket Club players, a regular achievement for the club over the years. On a Saturday the club fields five teams and has colts teams starting from under 9's to under 17's. In 2010 it achieved 'Club Mark' status which is awarded by the English Cricket Board to club's who meet a high standard of organisation and safety in the running of it's colts section. The club is consistently recognised for it's wonderful facilities and welcomes new members of all playing abilities.

CHAMPIONS! 🏆🏏

​Huge congratulations to the Slough CC Girls Under 19 squad for securing a massive 85-run victory against Falkland CC in the Berkshire - Girls U19 Blast Finals!

​After winning the toss and electing to bat our girls put on an absolute clinic to post a commanding total of 167/6 in their 20 overs!

​🏏 Batting Highlights:
​Captain and Wicket Keeper Fiza anchored the innings brilliantly, finishing 47 not out off just 37 balls (including 6 fours!).

​Shristi provided a fiery start at the top of the order with 32 runs off 23 deliveries.

​Aanya kept the momentum going, remaining unbeaten with a solid 28 off 28 balls.

​The bowling attack then took over, completely stifling the opposition and restricting them to just 82/6 in their 20 overs.

​🥎 Bowling Stars:
​Jui was unplayable, delivering 4 overs (including a maiden) and taking 2 wickets for just 9 runs!

​Tanvi was a constant threat, claiming 2 wickets for 22 runs in her 4 overs.

​Naaz applied immense pressure, giving up a mere 4 runs in her 3 overs while picking up 1 wicket.

​What an unbelievable all-around team performance to finish on top! Let’s go Slough CC! 🔥👏

🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Huge congratulations to the Slough CC Girls U15 Tigers for an incredible victory in the BERKSHIRE - Girls U15 Blast - FINALS!

The girls put on a stellar performance defeating Henley CC Girls Under 15 by a solid 28 runs.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Tigers set a formidable total of 135/3 in their 20 overs.

🏏 Standout Batting Performances:
Twinkle led the charge with an explosive 47 runs off just 30 balls, hitting 6 fours and 2 sixes before retiring not out!

Wicketkeeper Livia anchored the innings beautifully, retiring not out with 19 runs.

Tashvi added a quick 12 not out to finish strong.

🥎 Brilliant Bowling & Fielding:
The bowling attack kept the pressure on, restricting Henley CC to 107/4.

Habiba (1/18) and Aanya (1/14) both claimed crucial wickets to disrupt the chase.

Saakhi delivered an incredibly tight spell, giving away only 7 runs in 2 overs, including a maiden!

🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Massive congratulations to the Slough CC Girls U13 Tigers on an incredible victory in the Berkshire U13 Blast! 🐯🏏

What a fantastic performance in the final against Henley CC Girls Under 13. After Henley won the toss and elected to field, our Tigers put on a dominant batting display to reach 147/4 in their 20 overs. The team then bowled brilliantly to restrict Henley to 125 all out, securing a fantastic 22-run victory!

With the Bat:

Wicketkeeper Arshia Kapoor led the charge, top-scoring with a rapid 23 (retired not out) off just 20 balls.

Great supporting knocks from Hasitha Gunda and Leesha Gulati, who both scored a vital 16 (retired not out).

With the Ball:

Ashna Sahay was phenomenal, taking 3 wickets for 26 runs in her 4 overs.

Ananya Bhanot bowled a superb, tight spell, claiming 2 wickets for just 8 runs in 4 overs.

Khushangi Sharma also contributed a crucial wicket to the tally.

We are so proud of captain Tashvi Gurrum and the entire squad for this amazing achievement!

🏆 U17 BLAST PLAY-OFF CHAMPIONS! WHAT A FINISH! 🐅

Absolute scenes at Ricketts Field today as the Slough CC U17 Tigers pulled off a heart-stopping 4-run victory against Finchampstead CC to take the crown! 👑🏏

After winning the toss, we set a competitive total of 134/5. Wicketkeeper Mueez anchored the innings flawlessly with a brilliant 51 off 50 balls (retired not out), supported by a solid 24 from Kiaan and a quickfire 19 off 13 from Captain Mahad 🔥 but the real story is the final over. Finchampstead needed just 7 runs off the last 6 balls to win. Enter Kiaan Gulati🥶

With ice in his veins, Kiaan completely shut down the chase to secure the championship by giving away just 2 runs and 1 massive wicket from the 20th over. He finished with phenomenal final figures of 1-13 off 4 overs. S Veeturi also starred with the ball, picking up 2 crucial wickets to keep the pressure on throughout the innings. 🌪️

A true champion's performance under maximum pressure. The trophy belongs to Slough! 🏆🐅

🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🐅 The Slough CC U13 Tigers have won the finals!

What a performance! We secured a massive 125-run victory over the Henley CC Under 13 Leopards! 🏏🔥 Winning the toss and electing to bat, the Tigers posted a towering 204/4 in 20 overs. We then backed it up in the field, bowling Henley out for just 79 runs in 14.3 overs! 🤯👏

🏏 Batting Masterclass:
* 🔥 Captain Ahyan led from the front with a blistering 55 off 25 balls (retired not out).
* 💥 Vihaan smashed 48 off 25 balls (retired not out).
* 🚀 Wicketkeeper Kiaan closed out the innings with a rapid 26 not out from just 14 deliveries.
* 🧱 Vedant set the tone early, building the foundation with 25 off 24 balls.

🎯 Bowling Brilliance:
* 🌪️ Vivaan was absolutely unplayable, delivering a devastating spell of 4 wickets for just 6 runs in 3 overs—including a maiden!
* ☄️ Siddharth claimed 2 crucial wickets for 21 runs.
* 🤝 Ojas, Gautham, Devasya, and Vedant expertly dismantled the rest of the lineup, taking 1 wicket each to seal the victory.

🥈 U11 Blast Play Offs Runners-Up! 🥈

So proud of our Slough CC U11 Tigers for an incredible run to the Under 11 Blast Play Offs Final! We fought to the very last over, falling just 19 runs short in a massive chase against Bracknell United (163/3 vs 144).

Final Highlights:

Yuvan: Anchored the chase with a heroic, unbeaten 37* and took 1 vital wicket.

Riaan: Set the tone early with an aggressive 22 runs.

Yusuf: Chipped in with a quick 15 runs under pressure.

Being runners-up is a monumental achievement. The grit, resilience, and teamwork shown today prove the future of Slough CC is incredibly bright. Keep your heads high, Tigers—we’ll be back even stronger next season! 🏏🔥🐅
