CLUB STATEMENT | SEASON UPDATE ❤️🖤

Dear Members, Supporters, Players, Parents, Coaches and Volunteers,

Following the RFU’s latest announcement, the start of the community rugby season has been delayed, with competitive fixtures now beginning in the week commencing Monday 21 September.

Scheduled matches across the club may be postponed or rearranged, including fixtures involving our Senior, Colts, Minis and Juniors sections. We are working with the relevant competition organisers and will share confirmed updates as soon as they become available.

We understand this is disappointing after the hard work and preparation invested in the new season, but we fully support the RFU’s decision. The safety and wellbeing of our players, volunteers, families and the wider rugby community must come first.

Although competitive matches have been delayed, Sleaford Rugby Club remains open and active. Training, pre-season preparation and club activities will continue across our sections.

SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER 🏉

Our seniors’ first-team match has moved to Saturday 26 September, and we look forward to making it a special day for the whole club.

Thank you to all our members, players, parents, coaches, volunteers, supporters and sponsors for your patience, understanding and continued commitment to Sleaford Rugby Club.

We may have to wait a little longer for competitive rugby, but there is still plenty happening at Sleaford RFC.

Seasonal Sunday Kitchen & Catering Assistant

Five paid hours, normally 08:00 to 13:00 on scheduled Sundays, September 2026 to April 2027.

£13.00/hour plus separately itemised holiday pay

Help us run a safe, welcoming Sunday kitchen for players, families and visitors.

The role includes simple breakfast cooking, approved post-match meals, customer service, stock and cleaning. Experience is useful; reliability, organisation and safe working matter most.

Required training is provided and paid.
