19 years ago today I made my professional debut after being the 2nd serving soldier to be granted a professional boxing licence.. just behind my good pal Ross Burkinshaw who just beat me to it 💪🏼 Based out in NI with my battalion at the time and loving life 🫡
Fighting in Manchester on a Wally Dixon promotions with some top Manchester fighters. I used to love packing my bags, jumping in my car, staying at my nans in Warrington and heading over to Manchester daily to spar the likes of John Murray, Ant Crolla,Terry Flanagan, Andy morris, Michael Jennings, Joe Murray,Scot Quigg, Rhys Roberts, John Kays… That city just breeds talent 🥊🔥
I can still remember after the fight thinking how easy that was ( not understanding what journeymen are for ) and I got paid for it 😂 sold 100 tickets, got a chunk of cash and not a mark on me 🥊

Took my blood pressure this morning while into a 20 hour fast and still on going 💪🏼
Numbers are in the athlete bracket still.. I’ve not been a athlete for over 10 years now 💪🏼
