Today the Sleaford Ladies League Team played away at Lincoln but unfortunately & after a hard fought match did not get the result they wanted, losing 1 1/2 to 2 1/2!

Today, Sunday 12th July saw the final round of the Gents Club Championship. The weather was hot, damn hot, oh, and windy, not the normal wind!
Results were as follows:
Sleaford Golf Club 2026 Gents Champion: Rhys Mayers
Runner Up: James Burnett
Peake Medal Winner: Joseph Sutherland
Runner Up: Bernie Clarke

Brian and all of his green staff for presenting the course is such great condition, those greens were swift!
Thanks must also go to those who volunteered their services to assist with, registration, collection of completed cards, and the starters who all ensured that the players got off the first tee on time and made sure players scorecards were recorded at the end of their rounds.

A huge well done to all those who took part in the event, it’s fair to say that it was a superb championship that took place in testing conditions!

Today the Ladies section played a match away against Boston and really enjoyed the course, the weather and the company. Unfortunately the score did not quite match up, but we are looking forward to playing again next year!
