A few weeks ago I had a Trek 6066 hybrid MTB in for a service and mentioned that a local bike mechanic had swapped out the rear hydraulic brake for a cable unit! Well I sourced a set of Haynes 9 Hydraulic units and swapped them out today resetting it to original spec.

For those of you who did not catch the Tour of Britain men's stage from Boston to Skegness here are a few of my clips. As property officer for Boston I was involved with making sure the Teams could get into our car parks on Thursday so I got right amongst the guys and kit, these pro teams have big budgets, the bikes are £20k each.

New sealant in the tyres of a Liv roadside was the first job of the day. Remember folks it needs replacing every 6-8 months to work correctly otherwise it goes solid and will fail.
