We’re stepping into weekends only now.. open every weekend for as far ahead as we can see.

This has been our busiest year yet here at Attingham Park. We can’t quite find the words for how much it has meant. To see so many of you turn up, get out on the water, and leave with stories and photos of your own.. it feels like something rare and real we got to be part of 📸

Thank you for trusting us with your days out. Thank you for the moments you shared back with us. We’ve read every word and loved every picture. It wasn’t just canoe trips.. it was magic, just as you found it.

The river keeps flowing. We’ll be here, ready each weekend. Book in advance as there are now fewer spaces available 🛶

We have plenty of bookings coming in for Monday already. It is going to be a busy one, so please book ahead if you haven’t already. That way you know your spot is safe.

Rain makes everything feel more alive ☂️

We woke up this morning to beautiful photos from one of the winners of our canoe competition! 🏆

It’s still warm out, just a little wet.. but that makes it even better. It’s quiet, magical, and not everyone gets to see the river like this.

We are open as usual. Trips are running, the water is calm, and there’s something really special about paddling through the rain.
Wrap up, bring a hood, and come feel it for yourself.

FUN RIVER FACT!
Did you know the River Tern is named after the Tern bird.. those graceful, white seabird-like visitors that fly and dive along its waters.

It literally means “the river of the terns”

So when you paddle today, you’re gliding down the River of the Terns. keep your eyes up, you might just spot one of the namesakes flying overhead!
