💜 MEET THE TEAM - MISS KIRSTY💜

Miss Kirsty is a passionate and sassy dance teacher that oozes poise and glamour!

Kirsty attended the prestigious dance and performing arts school Bird Collegeuk and achieved a BA Hons in Dance and Musical Theatre. She then travelled the world dancing and hobnobbing with the likes of Justin Bieber and David Beckham!!! 😮

We are so lucky to have Kirsty as part of our teaching team and she teaches classes on a Tuesday 💜

Our Ballet & Boogie classes are fabulous for improving hand eye coordination, listending skills, making friends and are lots of fun too!

If you have a little one aged 3-5 years our Ballet & Boogie Beginner classes are the perfect introductory dance class with the chance to make friends too!

Our Ballet & Boogie Improver Classes are for children aged 5-6 years. Suitable for those who may have attended babyballet classes already or are complete beginners but a little older.

💜 MEET THE TEAM - MISS MIA💜

Miss Mia is a Footlighter through and through! Works hard and expects hard work from her students too. Organised, diligent but also fun too!

Mia has been dancing with Footlights since the age of 3 back in 2011. She has completed all her IDTA Ballet & Tap exams with Distinction and recently achieved her BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance with top marks.

Mia has been teaching at Footlights for a few years, first as a Class Assistant and then as a fully qualified IDTA teacher working in our Lyrical and exam classes - she is well known for her tough boot camp warm ups in the Senior Lyrical class! She also works as a teacher for Miss Leila at babyballet and loves seeing the dancing stars progress in skill and confidence.

She cannot wait to be teaching full time at Footlights from September 💜

💜 MEET THE TEAM - MISS JEMMA 💜

Say a big hello to Miss Jemma!

Jemma has been a part of the Footlights teaching team since 2012 and is much loved by all our students. Bubbly, friendly and super brilliant with all our younger students, her infectious love for dance is passed on to her students while she keeps them entertained with fun dance routines.

Jemma has danced since she was 3 and has two daughters attending classes at Footlights so she is a proud dance mum too! 😍

Miss Jemma teaches our Ballet & Beginner and First Steps classes and is the expert in all things dance for our younger Footlighters. She also works full time in a children's Nursery and is studying for her level 5 qualification in this field.

💜 MEET THE TEAM - MISS DAISY💜

Miss Daisy has been a dancer and now a teacher at Footlights for 17 years!!!

She continued her dance training at BOA in Birmingham for 4 years and most recently at Wilkes Academy. Her ethos for teaching is to personalise each class to every student making sure she goes the extra mile to ensure everyone gets an equal chance to grow and receive feedback!!! She strives to teach longevity and encourage confidence to all her students as well as creating a fun lighthearted experience.

Daisy completed all her IDTA Ballet & Tap exams and also her IDTA Level 4 Freestyle Teaching exam and is looking forward to teaching our Commercial Dance Pop Up Shops as well as being our Social Media Manager. 💜💜💜
