🏅 CONGRATULATIONS, ISAAC! 🥋

A huge congratulations to Isaac on achieving his Duke of Edinburgh GOLD Award — an outstanding achievement and something to be incredibly proud of!

At just 18 years old, Isaac is also a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taekwon-Do, and there are clear parallels between these two significant achievements.

Reaching Gold requires commitment, perseverance, self-discipline, resilience and determination. It means setting long-term goals, stepping outside your comfort zone, overcoming challenges and having the strength of character to keep going when things become difficult.

These are the very same qualities we seek to develop through Taekwon-Do — particularly Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit.

Achieving a 2nd Degree Black Belt and the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award by the age of 18 says a great deal about Issac’s dedication and character.

That’s one of the great things about Taekwon-Do — children are having fun and burning off energy, while developing skills that go far beyond the training hall.

Through regular training, children learn confidence, focus, discipline and perseverance. They learn to listen, follow instructions, work towards goals and keep trying when something doesn’t quite go right the first time.

And every new technique mastered gives them that fantastic feeling of “I did it!” 💪
