🇳🇵 Coffee Morning in Support of Nepal 🇳🇵

Following the terrible disaster in Nepal, we would like to come together as a club and raise as much money as possible to support those affected.

Please join us at Town Walls Tennis Club on Saturday 19 September, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, for tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes. It will be a lovely opportunity to catch up with fellow members while supporting this incredibly worthwhile cause.

There are six British players still in the US Open singles:

Women

* Katie Boulter — second round
* Harriet Dart — second round
* Francesca Jones — first-round match suspended while leading 6–4

Men

* Jacob Fearnley — second round
* Toby Samuel — second round
* Jan Choinski — still awaiting his first-round match

So four are safely through, with Jones and Choinski completing their rain-delayed first-round matches today. Latest British results from the LTA⁠

From Sunday 23rd to Saturday 29th August, Shrewsbury Lawn Tennis Club and Town Walls Tennis Club will host six fantastic days of competitive tennis.

With 55 events covering age groups from under-8s through to 65+, there will be plenty of exciting matches to enjoy. Not competing? Come along, take a courtside seat and support some of Shropshire’s finest players! 👏🏼
