Sometimes Dance class isnt always about technique sometimes its trying a new lift a student has come across. Today during our last class of the day we decided to try this lift our senior found and while its not perfect its a start we were cracking it before the end of lesson. ❤️ ❤️

Our Acro Stars and Level 1 Acro dancers have been working so hard over the last two weeks on their back flexibility and wall handstands! 🤸‍♀️💪

We absolutely LOVE watching them work hard, challenge themselves and grow in confidence as they develop their skills. Every little improvement is a step forward, and we couldn’t be prouder of their progress! 🥰✨

🖤 Remembering Sir Richard Alston CBE 🖤

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Richard Alston CBE, one of the most influential figures in British contemporary dance and choreography.

Richard Alston’s extraordinary career spanned decades and left an incredible legacy within the dance world. He became Resident Choreographer of Ballet Rambert in 1980 and later served as its Artistic Director from 1986–1992. He went on to establish the Richard Alston Dance Company, creating an extensive body of work that continues to inspire dancers and choreographers today.

His choreography was particularly celebrated for its musicality and close relationship with music — creating movement that responded to rhythm, phrasing, shape and sound in a uniquely beautiful way.

As a dance school, we recognise the importance of artists like Richard Alston, whose creativity, artistry and dedication have helped shape the world of contemporary dance and influenced generations of dancers.

His contribution to dance will continue to live on through his choreography, the dancers he inspired and the many people who continue to discover his work.

Thank you, Richard, for the movement, the music and the inspiration. 🕊️

With heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and the wider dance community.

A quick plea if anyone can help even just by sharing this to support this school get back on its feet after the devestating fire they suffered and lost nearly half this building this is the 2nd year this school has had to have temporary rooms created. As many of you know many of our young dancer attend this school and now have the uncertaintity of when they can be back to normal, So please help us support thomas bullock primary school and nursery to help get back on there feet ###x

Following on from our **Tippy Toes Together** class, **Tiny Tutus** is the perfect introduction to ballet for little ones aged **3 years to Reception age**. 🌸
