Had the chance to have my second go in a KZ at Rissington at the weekend, squeezing in a few laps between my X30 practice sessions… and I absolutely love it! 🔥

The kart was set up for an adult, so it definitely wasn’t ideal for me, but I wasn’t going to turn down the chance 😂

Mega thanks to Neil for letting me take it out and trusting me not to bin it!

The speed, the power and shifting through the gears just feels right. Every time I get in one, I just want more.

Just wish I was a little bit older… 😬🏁

Great fun weekend at Rissington! 🏁

A bit different from our normal race weekends with a Formula Libre style format — set sprockets, used tyres and just getting out there to enjoy some racing.

Really happy to come away with 3 heat wins from 3, including fastest lap in two of them. Had some brilliant battles throughout the day and then the final went right down to the line, finishing P2 by just 0.08 seconds! 🤏

More importantly, I learnt a lot and really enjoyed being back at Rissington without the pressure of a championship weekend.

Massive thank you to Tim at TWM and everyone at Matrix for putting the weekend together, and to Rissington and all the marshals for making it happen.

Definitely need another weekend like this! 👊🏁

Back to Rissington! 🏁

Really looking forward to getting back out on track at Rissington this weekend for a bit of fun.

TWM and Matrix Group are putting on a Libre-style race for Juniors and Seniors, so it should be a great weekend with plenty of track time and some good racing.

It’s been a while since I’ve raced at Rissington, so I’m excited to get back there, enjoy the weekend and see what we can do. 👊

Really good to visit GEM in Warwick and meet the team 👋🏁

GEM is a local engineering company that we already know and use for bearings and engineering supplies, so having their support behind my racing means a lot.

It was great to take the kart down, meet the management from GEM and Rotamec Group, show them a bit more about what we do and have a proper chat about the racing.

GEM are now part of Rotamec Group, combining their local engineering knowledge and experience with a much wider UK engineering network.

Karting at this level takes a huge amount of support and every bit of help is genuinely appreciated. It gives us the opportunity to do more testing, get more seat time and keep pushing forward.

A massive thank you to everyone at GEM and Rotamec Group for taking the time to meet us and for getting behind Jack Baker Racing. It really does mean a lot. ❤️🏁

Hopefully we can give you plenty to cheer about! 👊

If you know me, you’ll know I’m never completely happy with a lap — I’m always looking at where I can improve and find more time! 😂🏁

Here’s one of my laps around the new Silverstone Kart Circuit. There’s definitely plenty more time to find, but for my first experience of the track I really enjoyed it. A brilliant circuit and hopefully the first of many laps around here.

Massive thanks to Tim and everyone at TWM, and to the Silverstone Kart Circuit team for a great test day and making us feel so welcome.

Really looking forward to this one! 🏁

On Tuesday I’ll be heading to KART Silverstone for my first time testing on their brand-new circuit.

A completely new track for me, so it’ll be all about learning the circuit, getting plenty of laps in and building throughout the day.

Can’t wait to get out there and see what it’s like! 👊

I’m really looking forward to this one. We’ve had some positive testing recently, learned a lot with the new Birel, and I’m feeling ready for the challenge.
