What a game! 🏏 Today's match was a true reflection of our journey where we started, where we are now, and where we're headed. From arriving early to a powerful batting display and exceptional bowling and fielding, every moment showcased our incredible progress. We secured the win, but more importantly, this game celebrated the amazing community we've built. It's more than just Ladies cricket; it's about our shared passion, determination, and the joy we bring to everyone involved. What a team! 🎉

Today's game was one that marked where we first began, where we are now, and where we want to go. 🏏🗺️
It was a match to remember. 🌟

For the first time, we arrived early before the opposition. 🚀 A small moment, perhaps, but a sign of how far we have come. 📈
We warmed-up and looked ready from the start. 🔥
Then came the toss. 🪙 We lost it, much to one of our teammates dismay. 😔 Her immediate response was: “Tails does fail! What did you pick that for?” 😤 After all, it had lost the previous two weeks as well. 🤦‍♀️
Worsbrough Bridge CC elected to put us in to bat first. 🏏

Our innings was full of energy and intent: a few wickets, plenty of boundaries, lots of runs, and the same passion that has been there since our very first game. 💪 We were hungry to perform and finished on 269. 💯
With the ball, every bowler played their part, each delivering an over to every pair. ⚾ There was some fabulous bowling, backed up by excellent fielding. 🧤

Our improvement since those early days was clear to see. 👀 We protected the boundary brilliantly, restricting the number of fours and making the opposition work hard for every run. 🏃‍♀️

It was a great game and we got the win. 🎉

But this match meant more than the result. 💖
