Difficult day at the office today, we never really got the ball down and played the football we normally play.

A great run out tonight for the lads in only our 5th ever 9 a side friendly against a very good side who are playing up a year next season.

Plenty of positives and there were big improvements in the second half.

The season is nearly upon us as we take on Darnall Diamonds away at Leisure United, Woodburn Road this Sunday 10am kick off.

We had 4 players away on holiday, no subs and a stand in goalkeeper.

A really pleasing performance by the boys tonight playing in what was only our 3rd 9 a side game.

We played three quarters of the game without our skipper and goalkeeper Oliver after he took a knee to the face, it was a brave stop down at the strikers feet but unfortunately he couldn't carry on.

Up stepped Derrin to take his turn in the sticks, it was then Lukas turn after half time and then Billy stepped in for the last quarter. None of the boys put a foot wrong. Thank you to them all for volunteering 🫡

Some great shape, passing football, fitness looks really high and plenty of desire in the tackle.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the recent Mosborough FC U11s sponsored walk in aid of Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity and our team.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, the boys raised a staggering £1,350. We'd also like to say a massive thank you to Paul and Leanne at Local Scaffold Services Ltd for their generous donation, taking the grand total to an amazing £1,550.

The money will be split equally, with £775 being donated to Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity and £775 going towards supporting the boys throughout the season.

Over the last few years, this fantastic group of lads have now raised more than £5,000 for charities and the team. We couldn't be prouder of their effort, commitment and willingness to help others. They are a credit to themselves, their families and our club.

Thank you once again to everyone who donated, sponsored, shared and supported us. We couldn't do it without you! ❤️⚽

Conceded 1 goal all tournament and that was to go 1-0 down in the Final, showed character to bounce straight back with 2 quick goals.
