This weekend saw LSBU Badminton Club send out two of their team members to participate in the big annual BUCS Individuals Nationals tournament !

Our president Kelvin managed to get a win in his singles narrowly losing out in second round.

Kelvin then partnered with Sophie losing out in a tight 3 set match in the first round.

Overall it was a great experience for the team to participate in such a big event and LSBU Badminton will be back stronger next year 😉

Thank you for joining us for badminton during the 2019/20 season. This will be my last day as an active member of the LSBU Badminton Club, I hope you all enjoyed the sessions Friday nights and playing for the Mixed and Men’s teams if you had a chance!

I won’t be at the club next season because I’m moving away but I’m leaving you in the very capable hand of Kelvin, who will ensure that your badminton club will be amazing and I’m sure he looks forward to welcoming you back to the sessions soon as it is safe to!
