Josh put in a brilliant attacking performance today. Quality on the ball, linking up play in forward areas and confidently driving past opposition players. He got himself two goals and was unlucky not to add more!🔥

Thomas was assured at the back, showing great confidence in the tackle and using his defensive awareness to keep the opposition at bay. He was also excellent in playing us out from the back and finding our midfield players💪

Oliver & Mitch 🏅🏅

A well deserved joint Man of the Match for Oliver and Mitch this weekend.

⚡ Oliver
Oliver had a cracking game on the wing, making a real difference with his ability to drive us further forwards and get us into positive attacking areas. He was always looking to make things happen and take us up the pitch. It was also great to see an improvement in his defensive contributions, working harder when we were without the ball.

💪 Mitchell
Mitch had a really difficult task today up against a quick and dangerous attacking player. He used his initiative brilliantly, doing his best to man mark him out of the game and make things difficult for him. Mitch was brave in the tackle, stayed committed and never gave up, even when the challenge got tough.

Man of the Match Klaxon 🚨

Well done to Noah & Stanley 🏅🏅

Noah connected our game brilliantly, bringing everyone into play, helping us move the ball from defence up the pitch with some excellent passing football. He was constantly looking to get involved and keep things moving, topped off with a fantastic goal from outside the area 👏

Stanley ran his socks off today, working tirelessly up and down the wing. He was excellent in both attack and defence, always looking to make things happen and never giving up on a ball. He was also brilliant vocally, constantly communicating and giving his teammates encouragement and instructions 🤝

Thoroughly deserved lads!

Well done to Colby & Charlie 🏅🏅

Colby was outstanding today and showed exactly why he’s such an important player for this team. He has an incredible ability to read the game, making the game look effortless. Defensively he was solid throughout, but also showed real bravery stepping forward to support the attack, capping off his performance with a well deserved goal ⚽️

Charlie was technically excellent from start to finish. His close control and footwork made beating defenders look easy, while his work rate without the ball was just as impressive today. He chased everything down in the opposition’s defensive third, never gave them a moment’s rest and was rewarded with two well taken goals 🎯

Today we spent the day fundraising at Asda Handsworth, collecting donations to help support our team.

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by to donate or have a chat. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, really does make a difference and helps give our lads the best possible experience throughout the season.

A special mention also goes to our team secretary Mike, who took the time out to organise today. Your commitment behind the scenes is hugely appreciated by everyone involved with the team.
