Oliver Coppard South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority Have you seen our Cycle Hub at Meadowhall Railway Station. It has space for 40 bikes and is connected by traffic free cycle routes from Rotherham, Ecclesfield, Chapeltown and Sheffield City Centre.

If 40 people each day cycled to the station instead of driving this would free up 40 car parking spaces. We need to stop building more car parking and start thinking differently about our transport. Encouraging the use of facilities like this would mean the money you want to spend on more car parking could be used to upgrade cycle routes.

Do you want to work together on a proper campaign to increase awareness of this facility and the routes that connect it?

It is by far the quickest and cheapest way to travel from Ecclesfield to Sheffield City Centre car free and yet few people know. Let's work together on this.
