As another great season at GM comes to an end we are looking ahead to 2027 already. We are looking to add to the coaching team to support the junior boys so if anyone is interested or knows of anyone looking for more coaching hours just get in touch

Brilliant result on Saturday for our Mens team bowling top of the league Sheffield Centralians out for 185 from 39.4 overs when they needed 187 to win!! Satvir Singh lead the batting for Green Moor scoring 90 runs and then followed that up with great bowling taking 3 wickets along with Satinder. We are currently 3rd in the league with 3 fixtures to go!!

Men's 1st XI are at home today taking on Sheffield Centralians CC from 1pm. Bar is open and the sun is shining at Green Moor, all welcome to come and enjoy the cricket 🏏💚

Yorkshire Schools were runners up at Barnard Castle and our girls performed really well with Freya receiving a batting award for her innings of 71, Alice top wicket taker and Rosie taking wickets too - well done girls 🏏🏏

Wishing Alice, Freya and Rosie from our Under 15 girls team the best of luck as they play for Yorkshire Schools in the final of the tournament at Barnard Castle today. They face a very strong Durham Team but have already come through two challenging tests against Scotland and Ireland to get to the Final so fingers crossed for them - go smash it girls 🏏💚

Men’s 1XI match report ⭐️
A brilliant game yesterday against Sheffield United CC, the men started with the bat and although they had a rough start they had a hero ready to step up! Satvir Singh came in and scored 124 (his third consecutive century)🥳This meant the men finished on 192/all out ,giving them a strong score to defend in the second innings!

Another Josie masterclass 🌟
During our women’s match this afternoon , Josie took a spectacular 7/17 in 5 overs 🤯Josie wiped out half of the travelling teams order leaving us to chase 39! She is unstoppable, Well done Josie 💚
Ava then lead us to victory with a brilliant 25 runs! It’s been a brilliant weekend at Green Moor 💚

Another weekend of home fixtures at Green Moor 💚 The Mens 1st XI take on Sheffield United 2nd XI today at 1pm and The Womens 1st XI face Norton Oakes tomorrow at 1.30pm. Clubhouse open and everyone welcome to enjoy some cricket in the sunshine with the best view around 🏏☀️

Some of our Under 15 Girls have been in action for South Yorkshire today and performed extremely well winning their first match and then narrowly losing the second to a very strong side. Impressive batting with Alicia (32) and Rosie (31) both retiring not out in the first match (a PB for Rosie!) and Alice (32) as well in the second with Freya scoring 21 not out too.

Sophie did a sterling job behind the stumps as normal and wickets took by all! Well done girls, super proud of you all🏏💚
