Sheffield Tetsudo
Sheffield Tetsudo martial arts Tetsudo is more than just kicks and punches and offers genuine self defence techniques as well as developing focus and control.
The Association’s Annual Basics & Kedh Course was a resounding success, with outstanding instruction, expert advice, and practical demonstrations throughout the day.
Master Dhaliwal would like to personally express his sincere thanks and gratitude to all the instructors who generously gave their time, knowledge, and support. Their commitment enabled many of the students to benefit from almost one-to-one tuition,
creating an exceptional learning experience for everyone involved.
It was a fantastic day for the Association, with students leaving inspired, motivated, and already looking forward to the Freestyle Course in September!
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success.

On Saturday 28th February the Club held a special training session to celebrate our Senior Instructor Ustad Arun Dhaliwal's 20th Anniversary of being awarded his Black Belt. Many of our dear friends and colleagues joined us to take part is a great training session, where Arun took all the students and black belts through various aspects of the Art Form. It was wonderful to see our colleagues Logan, Dee, Sohail, Craig and Ustad Aruna Weerasooriya (4th Degree) who travelled all the way from Worcester, Dirk and Ustadan Natalie Petzel (3rd Dregree) who came over from North Nottingham, Ustad Mat White (3rd Degree) who is a big part of the Sheffield Club but travels down from North Yorkshire and Ustad Neal Shegog (4th Degree) who travelled up from Northamptonshire, along with some 20+ students and Black Belts from the Club. After training together for 2 hours, which flew by, we then went to the nearby HERD restaurant, which has Bavarian themed food and drink, and enjoyed each others company for another coupe of hours. It was fantastic to see so many people training together and socialising afterwards.
Congratulations again Arun from us all 🙏

Celebrating Two Special Milestones!
Fifty years ago, Ustad Pete Wasylko and Ustad Shindi Grewal embarked on their martial arts journey by joining the inaugural Goyararu class at the “Happy Return” in Nottingham.
In a touching speech, Pete reminisced about 1974, when an advert the size of a postage stamp drew 400 people. He also honored Master Dhaliwal with a bottle of vintage port enclosed in a beautifully engraved marquetry box.
In addition, we’re honoring Master Michael Newton, Ustads Dipak Gosrani, and Martin Foster for their 38 years of dedication since earning their prestigious Blackbelt Grades.
Please join us in congratulating these very special individuals for their significant contribution to the Art Form. They continue to serve as an inspiration to us all!
