The Strongman Competition is returning to Rotherham Show, bringing an exciting display of power, determination and skill to Clifton Park on 5 to 6 September.

Watch competitors take on a series of tough challenges throughout the day as they battle it out in front of the crowds in one of the show's most popular attractions.

It is with an extremely broken heart that we have to announce muscle empire (our dream) has to close its doors for good, we cannot secure a new tenancy for that building and moving is far too expensive and far beyond our capabilities, we can but apologise! We gave it our all from our hearts and our own pockets but it wasn’t enough! We would love to thank you all for your support from the beginning and still cherish all the amazing friends we’ve made along the way, we are absolutely gutted it’s over! We must stress this does not affect Muscle Empire Strongman Division (competitions) we have continued support from Lowood club for our events and plan to continue our beloved comps as long as you guys keep showing up!

If I could recommend a local gym to you it would be the Shed in Pen*stone. Keep it local guys
