'Dolly Parton always had a small waist'

This comment from a client sparked a conversation about how there isn't just one 'secret' to attain the same results as someone else.

You can't just copy the same exercise program, diet or routine as a celebrity, athlete or friend and expect to get exactly the same results let alone one small thing that they do.

There are too many other factors such as genetics, wealth, preferences, schedules, location, responsibilities that will all have an impact or make things suit one person better another.

I am not saying there's no point in trying to make changes or that you shouldn't give that exercise that celebrity does a go. Just let go of the idea that there's a secret to their 'success' that you can copy if you just find it out. You have to figure out what works best for you and your life to create the conditions you need to change- by understanding the big principals and building your own plan.

Sorry to anyone who is a massive fan of Dolly Parton- this video is in no way a criticism of her, unfortunately her death sparked this conversation with a client.

A perfectly chilled 7 days away in Dorset with our little family. Not too busy but just the right amount of experiences for Austin as he is growing and enjoying new things. Sarah Lou a great little Airbnb for our stay, tucked away in the countryside. Just the break we all needed to reset our minds and pause on the stressful last few months.
