A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special. It was wonderful to see our Ministrike students having fun, showing off their skills and growing in confidence with their families by their side! 🥋

We’re so proud of every one of our little martial artists—and grateful to have such an incredible Excel Family!

WOULD YOUR CHILD SPEAK UP IF SOMETHING DIDN’T FEEL RIGHT?

It’s a worry lots of parents quietly have.

Would they tell someone to stop?
Would they walk away?
Would they ask an adult for help?
Or would they freeze and say nothing?

These are skills children can practise.

On the mats, we help children find their voice, set healthy boundaries, develop confident body language and stay calm when they feel under pressure.

We don’t want children looking for confrontation.

We want them to have the confidence to handle it.

A skill for the mats.
A skill for the playground.
A skill for life. 💙

BULLY PROOF STARTS WITH CONFIDENCE. 🛡️

As parents, we can’t be beside them in the playground, corridor or classroom every minute of the day.

But we can help give them the skills to handle difficult situations with confidence.

At Excel, Bully Proof isn’t about teaching children to fight.

It’s teaching them to:
👀 Make confident eye contact
🗣️ Use a strong, clear voice
💪 Stand tall with confident body language
🧠 Stay calm under pressure
🥋 Know they can protect themselves if they ever need to

Because sometimes the biggest change isn’t becoming “tougher”.

It’s finding the confidence to say:

“STOP. LEAVE ME ALONE.”

From the mats to the classroom — we’re helping children stand a little taller this September.

A brilliant turnout for Teacher Caleb’s workshop — it was fantastic to see so many of our students on the mats, learning, challenging themselves and having a great time together! 🙌

A huge thank you to Teacher Caleb for sharing his knowledge and bringing such brilliant energy to the workshop, and a special thank you to Wendy and Courtney for being part of it too!

Another fantastic example of what our Excel Family is all about — learning together, supporting each other and sharing our passion for martial arts.

🥋 DEVELOPING THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS

Over the past few weeks, some of our students have been working closely with Teacher Angelo, learning what it takes to be a brilliant assistant on the mats.

From leading by example and communicating clearly, to supporting younger students, showing patience and bringing positive energy to every class — they’ve been developing skills that go far beyond martial arts. 🙌

Being an assistant isn’t just about helping teach techniques. It’s about becoming someone others can look up to, trust and learn from.

👀 Keep an eye out for these guys on the mats! You’ll start to see them putting everything they’ve learned into action, supporting our Teachers and helping other students to Excel.

We’re excited to see them grow into their new roles!
